As the science of happiness, well-being, and human flourishing, Positive Psychology offers powerful tools for transformation. By studying the PERMA model, hope, optimism, and subjective well-being, our scholars are equipped to build resilience in communities and drive meaningful change in organizations.
To accommodate the diverse needs of our global community, we offer this program in three distinct, accessible formats:
- The Academic Track: For those dedicated to traditional scholarly rigor. This path mirrors the intensity of a standard PhD, allowing you to dive deep into research and theory over a minimum of three years.
- The Professional Practice Track: Tailored for working professionals in business, government, and the non-profit sector. Your dissertation is designed to solve a real-world business or organizational problem. (Special Note: To support social impact, we are proud to offer a 50% tuition discount for employees of non-profit organizations on this track).
- The Prior Published Work Track: Designed for seasoned academics with at least five years of experience, this pathway recognizes your existing contributions. You will be assessed on a portfolio of at least five academic papers and a thesis of no less than 20,000 words. (We are happy to consider exceptional cases, subject to faculty board approval).
